I think TRACON is hiring a couple for FY 2010 (Oct).

I was told by the ATM that they did not anticipate hiring anyone until Fall 2010. I will be pissed if someone is picked up this announcement after the hell that the FAA put me through.

I was offered F11 from PUBNAT2. Im at OKC right now, and I'll report in June.

Hopefully there is a spot when i separate from the AF in Feb 2011

. MCO (well now F11) is my dream facility but i could live with TPA/SRQ/DAB/JAX/P31 or the likes. Grew up in the Tampa area and after living up north i'll just hang out applying for a Florida position until i get one somewhere. I am not made to be up north.

I found out I got F11 in back in February. Finally last week, after the whole "medical clearance" fiasco, I got the call to start class on 20 August.

Don't know if I should leave my current job to go though (DoD ATC).

So YOU are one of the few I'm waiting on. I can't start my RADAR training until you get here. And without RADAR training, you don't get developmental pay raises...
