Now that we know the results, what impact should this election have on contract negotiations?

we'll be lucky if he remembers his "promise" to send us back to the negotiating table...

he will remember, he's not going to forget! He still has to appoint a new faa administrator.

in 2 years though. every single incoming president has acknowledged and accepted the sitting administrator in the FAA. Obama will be no different. In 2 years though, expect the changes we have hoped for. plus, the IWR will be up too, IIRC.

I believe when Obama says "NATCA will have a friend in the white house"...he doesn't plan on the IWR's staying put until expiration. It would make "0" sense! A change is coming soon, either by presidential influence or the faa laying out an offer NATCA is willing to take.

OK...Just for a minute lets assume that Obama doesn't forget us...Does anyone have any idea who he would appoint as administrator if he doesn't keep bobby "big boy" Sturgell?
