NATCA Dues Reimbursement Form
Dear NATCA Member:

NATCA has decided to reimburse the dues overpayment made by controllers whose pay is set below the bottom of the old pay band, which took effect in Pay Period 6 of 2007, on a quarterly basis. In order to accomplish this by electronic transfer, it is essential we receive your individual banking information.

Please complete and return the ?NATCA Dues Reimbursement Form? posted on the website (below) to the NATCA National Office as soon as possible. You may either fax the completed form to 202-628-9558, scan/e-mail it to forms@natcadc.org, or return it via mail to the following:

NATCA
Attn: Reimbursement
1325 Massachusetts Avenue, N.W.
Washington, D.C. 20005

Should you desire NOT to receive your reimbursement of the dues overpayment, please check the appropriate box on the form. All monies not reimbursed to members will be marked for use as part of the NATCA general funds.

Please remember, you will not be reimbursed unless you must return the Reimbursement Form.

In Solidarity:

You have to file this letter every month. Their charging you dues based on the green book pay scale, while were getting paid on the white book pay scale. Go figure. NATCA says they don't recognize the white book because it wasn't a ratified contract. Okay...I get that, but do they really need to overcharge those making less money??

NATCA has broadcasted the dues rebate information to all developmental, on another note it isn't NATCA that withholds your dues money it is the FAA who then is supposed to pay this money to NATCA.

But it's NATCA who sets the dues. I agree it's an inconvenience, but at least they make an effort to reduce the impact on the new hires.

If NATCA was to charge us dues by the white book pay scale, then they would be recognizing the white book as a contract.

And you don't have to file this every month. You can do it every 6 months or whatever interval you want. I do every 6 months cuz then it's actually worth filling out the paperwork. It's like $15 a month or paycheck or something like that. It's really not that much each paycheck.

Kill Switch,

Good information!

For you other guys, when I belonged to the Teamsters a very long time ago, the union dues percentage withheld from my pay was higher than with NATCA.

RECOGNIZING doesn't mean they sold out. it just means they are aware of whats happening to their constituents. the FAA could give 2 shits about whether or not NATCA "RECOGNIZES" the white book...it's been imposed since Sept 06...whether or not NATCA "RECOGNIZES" it. we were/are getting paid a B-scale even though NATCA doesn't want to realize it.

why double punish their members. first we get a b-scale, then we pay higher dues based on an a-scale that isn't reality.

Though I'm not there, it sounds like the 2 year old approach to me. That's all fine on the FAA's end but the only one who seems to care are the people who are getting screwed in the due's. At least they have something for reimbursment but they could save everyone time and energy just switching it for now... especially if they are renegotiating. How hard is it to call the payroll office and make the change??
