no, its because of NASA. a NATCA rep from down there explained it to me once. as a government employee, you're entitled to locality matching what those guys fought for. houston is cheap.

Niagra thanks for putting up the charts, based upon the figures I'd have to work beyond mandatory retirement age in order to receive a raise (other than the 1% for those that are eligeble).
