1440 question
Posted: 09-03-2009, 11:04 AM

I'm pretty sure I know what my answer is going to be, just wanted to ask if anyone is in the same boat or knows the answer.

If you are/were part of the 1440, but you were one of those that resigned/quit at some point after the white book, then got rehired, would you get the 8% next June?

You know, they said that if you were a developmental on September 3rd, 2006, and you still work for the FAA, you would get it. But I can definitely see the FAA saying that you would have given up the 8% when you quit and were re-hired under the IWR. Maybe email your RVP, he could probably get a good answer for you.

Common sense says : If you quit, you are not longer part of the 1440...

Just like, for example, I quit McDonald's, I would no longer be considered a McDonald's employee.

Lol Roddy... hell freaking no. And IF by someones huge error, you get the raise... you better buy us all some beer AND buy a lottery ticket because you wtf Lucked Out.

there was a shit load of us that quit when the white book happened. somebody must've heard the definitive yes OR no on this subject.
