What part of contract starts on Oct 1st

I know that the agreed upon tau's start on oct 1st'ish, but what starts on Jan 1. I know that the new pay bands start on Jan 1st but is everything that the arbitrators decided on start in Jan or is it just the pay bands.

Everything but pay is Oct.1, pending ratification. I received my ballot two days ago and already voted online. We should know the results towards the last week of Sep.

TAU articles start 1 Oct (that is if we ratify it)
arbitration articles, aka pay, starts 1 Jan 10

Sooooo... if the ratified contract starts on Oct 1 and I start the academy on Oct 8 ... will the business casual dresscode still be in affect for academy students/employees?

Roddy, arbitration rules start on October 1st as well as the TAU. All the pay rules, CIP, leave, etc... all start on 10/1. The only thing that changes January 1st are the actual pay bands.

let me ask around some more. i keep hearing from the union that all arbitration starts next year and the TAU's start on 1 Oct.

would make sense that ONLY the pay bands start on 1 Jan. everything else on 1 Oct.
