We've got all kinds of BS rules.....we can only be gone for 20 minutes. Can only go one time per shift (not that we would need to go more) Can't leave the last two hours of your shift. Blah blah blah. The closest place is about 20 minutes round trip, not counting ordering and waiting in line. I think I'll order the #1 grievance special with a side of grievance fries, and a LG diet grievance cola! And yes...I do want an apple pie with that!!!!!!!!

Our facility is 30 minutes max, 2 people max out at a time per area, and if you are not back within 30 minutes you get charged AWOL. National grievance was filed today. The war has begun.

There they go, making up their own crap again. Just what we need, management supplementing the already agreed upon contract. Nuh uh.

Our manager wants us to obtain Management permission and says she will only allow excused absence for meal purposes. She also says that if no management is in the building, which is about 20 percent of the time, whoever is requesting should request annual first and she will review it to possibly convert it to excused absence.

can someone post the wording? I don't have the time right now to sift. I remember reading it, but I don't remember the EXACT wording.

That's BS.

We had to take annual with the white book if we wanted to leave. Not any more.
