Natca's not my boss. They do something stupid I can step aside analyze and decide what part of my future they are going to hold. |

Upon hiring into ZLA, I joined NATCA just until I got certified and was planning to bail. It took only a few months of paying attention to how the FAA works to realize the value NATCA is to all controllers. I urge you to look past your first rep, and look at what NATCA does for all of us. |

![]() But to answer your questions....Mr. Church is the director of communications for NATCA, he is not a controller. This site put up an "Ask NATCA" section to which he monitors. If Mr. Church does not know the answer to a question he will solicit answers from the BBS and he then reposts the entire answer back here. As for not censoring.....ask Mr. Church. IMO, I doubt he could have realized that some would interpet/read into a comment like some have done. After all none of us here know the exact background of the grievance, nor do we know what was said in the investigation and presentation of the grievance. ![]() |

Re: NATCA response to overtime question
Posted: 01-29-2010, 04:27 PM tho, its not all bad that they hear it somewhere... my facility is 100% union... I'd hate to be the upstart trainee that makes it NOT 100%... asking for trouble So if a developmental elected not to be a member , what kind of trouble would he be in ? Why is there a list and why are the non members highlighted ? They must be special !

Just so you are perfectly clear, the agency that you are striving to be part of is run by a bunch of slimeballs whose sole purpose is to break the system so that it can be privatized and "fixed" by a private contractor. If you dislike or hate this organization so much , why don't you quit and do something else for a living and save the rest of us from your misery ! |
