I'm not complaining at all about the money, my pay is fine for the area I live in. My beef is with what you say is an improving system--it's not. Of course the FAA is going to say it's getting better, but on my end it's not, and on my customers end it's not. More pilots are electing not to fly IFR because of the difficulty in filing IFR plans, every time we have an international arrival here their second leg of the flight plan has fallen out, when those rare times I have to call you guys happens the line is not answered or if it does the person doesn't know who I am or who they are supposed to be. I have done this job for 30 years--worst service I have ever experienced in the FSS system. I'm really happy you get the money your getting--now if only the service and professionalism could match it.
