The Reauthorization has not gone "down the crapper". They just aren't going to vote on it this year. I do not think this is bad at all. If they passed it this year while "W" is still in office, he would veto the bill. Then it would be tougher than ever to pass, however, if you wait untill after the elections it will have a much better chance. Also, if this year keeps up with the retirements and operational errors, more awareness, and more support will back ATC up.

Yeah, I agree. Let the FAA have to start the big furlough starting in March that Bobert made vocal a couple weeks back. With how much the Reauthorization bill is a key for us, its the same for the agency...
