Which HQ exec retired to start ITTs contract Overseas contractors are a long ways away from a formidable oversight/ethics committee. The red tape and wallet fillers are screwing the operators daily thats what we are faced with on the home front as well. Sorry you are faced with this in an environment such as Afgan but many of us here understand your frustration.
I had a transfer held for a year and a half so they could move me under the new IWR... I lost 60K a year for these shlubs ~EFIN A A.. A year and a half later I am beginning to feel as though I have become a sadist of sorts.

, good question. Actually ITT is new to the ATC world and because of that, in my opinion, controllers are getting bent-over in all of this. A new Co' cannot compete if they have no idea what they're getting into, how to treat employees, and just how much BS we'll put up with, which isn't much. When on and hourly contract we look at details, and do not take kindly to be threatened and intimidated for very long.

For example: (Co' man/woman, this might sting a little)

We all know how important the/a DVRS is, right Could mean the difference between.. well, you know what I'm sayin'. It's saved the a**es of many, esp' when leadership/management doesn't have the spine or B***s to defent their controllers even with recorded proof.

The DVRS at one location has not been operational in almost a year Every controller that has stepped foot in that facility has expressed their professional consern and been told the Co' doesn't want to spend the money and if you don't like working without it then leave.

New topic to follow.....
