Location: Prescott Arizona Flight Service Hub
Time: 10 Weeks
Class: 8 hours M-F , 4 hours flight service and 4 hours weather with 30 min for lunch.
Per-Diem = Yes
Housing = Hotel room paid (unlike FAA your per-diem is for your food and necessities only. Lockheed pays for the hotel and it doesn't come out of your per-diem, sweet deal)
Transportation = Reimbursed and they rent vans for everyone to share to go to work and wherever else in your free time.
Tests = Lots of tests, most 70 to pass. Some weather ones are higher. Fail 3 tests and your out.

Note: At the moment Lockheed is not hiring. Hopefully they will begin more training classes in the near future.

Thanks for this post. I've found on this forum that another 200-300 may be let go this year. Is that still in the works?
