Fixed Wing Glider hours
Posted: 06-08-2009, 03:28 AM I am going to do my private pilots license I have been flying fixed wing gliders for 12 months I have been told I can use those hours for my private plane licence is this true and has any one else done the same?

Posted: 06-08-2009, 02:12 PM I believe some of the solo time may count towards the total but it's not going to be much since there are so many other requirements to accomplish in a powered airplane. I'd guess that maybe 10 hours may count towards the 40 total.
