Hello,

I just finished my online portion of the NATS test and have been invited to take the Step 1 test. I was curious if there are anyone else on this website who are in that process. I used the guide I found on this website about the NATS process to help me with the online test. It was very helpful.

If there is anyone that could answer questions about the S1 I would appreciate it. Do you plan on adding information about the other stages of the process.

thanks.

NATSATCO,

I have completed all through S2 and have just received my S3 invite. Do you have some specific questions about S1 or want a general overview?

Do you think it's worth it? I signed up for step 1. I still haven't completed the test, but I'm not sure I want to spend the $800-$1000 for a plane, hotel and such to fly over there if it's not worth it in the long run.

Yeah same here wolf. I'm in the same boat. I understand (from my correspondance) thats it's pretty tough. Did you recieve the e-mail about the changes to the stage tests? Apparently they are divided even more with 2 parts to a stage. I.E. you must past the first two "tests" during the morning to be invited to stay for the second part of the day.... I'm wondering the same thing if it is even worth it.

On one side, they were very prompt in returning my "easy" questions. But when I asked if there was a way to do the stage tests in one trip, or through a third party I never received an answer :-(

Just a bump looking for an update. Has anyone gone through this? As an American is it something we can consider should we not get hired by the FAA?
