Re: European ATC Jobs?
Posted: 09-23-2008, 03:09 PM You wold need to be a citizen over there to become a controller and from what Ive seen they dont make enough to go through the trouble. I was in Italy(USAF) for 3 years and the only other way you'd get a job over there is by way of the DOD

European ATC
Posted: 10-02-2008, 01:31 PM Are there any Euro ATC guys here? I have a bunch of questions I would like to contact you guys about.
Am thinking of making a move to Europe (Poland) for ATC. But am not sure how things work over in Europe, what to expect for pay, training, the selection process, pay during training, etc? I know it probably varies country to country, especially to pay, but maybe somebody has some information. What are the average salaries, schedules like? I am currently a pilot flying for a U.S Regional Airline. Would this be an advantage for me in the selection process? How big? The languages are not a problem. Any help would be great. Thank you. ![]() |

Re: European ATC
Posted: 10-02-2008, 03:34 PM I was Military ATC in Italy for 3 years and worked directly with the Italians in the tower. One thing I do know is that you must be a citizen in order to work ATC there.

Jobs in Europe
Posted: 01-11-2009, 03:05 AM If anyone has any information about ATC jobs in Europe please let me know. I have contacted EURO CONTROL and they said that they aren't hiring outside of their academy right now and you have to be under 25 to get into the academy. I am interested in ATC DOD military as well.
