Only as good as the day before

Lord,
i will seek your plan for my life. Even when i don't understand why things happen, i will trust in you. Even when i am uncertain of my next step, i will trust you. There are many things that i can't do lord, and there are many things that i can't understand. But one thing i can do is to trust you always.

Lord,
help me break bad habits and form good ones. And let my actions be pleasing to you today and everyday.

Today lord,
i will live in hope if i become discouraged,i will turn to you. I grow weary, i will seek strength in you, in every aspect of my life, i will trust you. You are my father,lord,and i place my hope and my faith in you.

Help me, lord,
rise above the need to criticize others, may my own shortcomings humble me and may i always be a source of genuine encouragement to my family and friends.

Lord,
at times, this world is a fearful place,i fear for my family and especially my child. Yet, you have promised me that you are always with me,with you as my protector,i am not afraid. Today let me live courageously as i place my trust in you.
