Is the AFAST required to be taken in the Army in order to reclass to ATC?

I can't really give you a solid answer but the test consisted entirely of rotary wing related questions, so I think its only if you are applying for warrant officer flight training.

Yeah, thought so bc I've looked over it also bc I was gonna try warrant but the line scores don't meet it.... And it was nothing but rotary wing. Bc I had a master sgt say it's a requirement and he was a retention and so it concerned me I can't take test for crap!

As an Ex-army pilot, I am 90% sure the AFAST is not required for ATC. That test is very difficult and has nothing to do with ATC. If they do have you take it I doubt it would be for selection or something like that.
