That is B S anyways. The navy has getting people to reenlist for a third of that for years.

Yeah, just filled out my paperwork. Was in the re-enlistment office at 12 on the 19th for the pre-lim paperwork. The word about the SRB dropping came down around 4pm. Thank god my paperwork says 5.5 for zone B.

I had 2 people on my crew in Iraq back in 09 who re-enlisted and got the maxed out $90k reenlistment bonus. Since I was ANG and wasn't getting one, they decided to rub their bonus in my face. So i put up with it for awhile, then just casually whipped out my payscale to show them I will be making more than that every single year and work 8 hours days, 5 days a week...and that's it.

They didn't say much to me the rest of the deployment lol

So who at the FAA can I talk to to make sure I have this USAJobs resume/app thing down pat? I don't want to get overlooked because my format was wrong or some other stupid little thing. Assuming they have a panel this Sept it is the first of 3 I am eligible for before I have to re-enlist.

Glad I got out too. Officially separated from the Air Force 24 Jun 12, and sworned in 18 Jun 12 with the FAA while on terminal leave. I'm not sure why anyone would reenlist now.

You got lucky there, I got out on june 6th, currently with midwest. But I knew the first day that atc was better outside of the AF when someone came in and took out the trash. Also knowing I'm only going to work 40 hours a week is a god send. Not once in the AF did i work 5, 8 hour days in a week.
