As long as you don't plan to see the world, go for it. What else you got to do?
Good benefits and guaranteed paycheck. 6 years is the minimum enlistment for air traffic though.

I can't believe I'm pitching the air force... i need some coffee.

It's a guaranteed 6 yr enlistment, but give you great training.

yeah i know about the 6 year thing, that doesnt bother me. i'm single, no kids. i went to school for atc and then got hired by the faa but it didnt work out. so....?? i just hate that they dont tell you what job i will have and cant tell me where i will be stationed at till after the fact.

What do you mean the don't tell you what job you will have? Don't sign a contract with the AF unless that contract specifically states what job you will be doing. Otherwise you will get stuck in a career field that you don't want. The recruiter is going to tell you what they have to to get you to join, don't listen. Tell the recruiter that you will only join if you get guaranteed ATC in your contract. If you let the AF choose your job you will regret it.
