Moving to OK in the near future for a DOD job (not ATC). The job is full time perm. so would like some info from someone that lives in the area as to best apartment deals. From looking on the Web there look to be alot of nice apartments but would like info from someone that really knows. Thanks and good luck to all thoughs in the FAA accademy or on the way.

There're a lot of apartment reviews here. Some're geared towards trainees at MMAC, but none are exclusive or anything.

Good people there. You like the area. I've worked for the OSS, all the civilian controllers are chilled and laid. Traffic is slow to steady. KC135, E3, E6, and depot for B52, 135's............Consider yourself lucky...........

For living in Oklahoma City? lolz
Tinker is fine, but it's an Oasis compared to Okie city. The fattest city in the country with a crap ton of people who can't drive. I've spent months there visiting + lived in Wichita Falls, TX (buddy lives in Okie City) and commuted regularly. You can tell the difference, easily.

Just curious when did you work there? I was a controller there from 2004 -08.
