Its been a long while since I quit natca but I still receive their propoganda regularly... why
I do not know. Their self-serving rhetoric is insulting to union people and a mockery of effective union representation. I will curtail my rant at this point in the interest of brevity in a busy world.
Here is my response to their latest dose of propoganda:

Let me see if I understand, or see, this thing clearly....
All the people hired in 81/82/83 under CSRS rules got big raises after the 1998 contract/pay change...is that correct
In 9/2006 journeyman pay was frozen by the imposition of the new pay bands thanks to NATCA's inability, unwillingness or incapability to obtain any kind of a contract from the FAA......so
All the people hired in 81/82/83 are now coming up for their "25 year ANY age" retirement with large salaries of which they are going to receive 50% annuities forever. Is that correct
The people hired after the strike in 1981 NEVER did a thing to assist the fired controllers to return to their jobs...on the contrary, they fought to keep them out from the very beginning of the union. They fought to keep fired union members from ever going back to their profession. John Carr better hope no PATCO controller ever meets him.....it wouldn't be pretty.
You guys have a great legacy... a lot to be proud of....you are great union people.....
You are shameful self-promoters who have ruined an entire profession. At level 6 facilities new hires make 1/3 of the pre-1998 journeymen at the same facility. Great job, union men.
No new controller in California will ever be able to purchase a home on the rotten salary the FAA has deemed appropriate for controllers. Garbage men in California "routinely" make more than air traffic controllers, and I mean no disrespect to garbage men who perform a much needed service.
You have been in bed with the FAA from the beginning... managed to keep MOST of the PATCO controllers from ever coming back to work...and now the FAA has kicked you out of bed and everyone can see what and who you really are....
For shame....how can you look at yourself in the mirror
You are disgusting charlatans and everyone knows it.....EVERYONE....including the contract tower controllers whom you have completely ignored.
Disgustingly yours,
A retired controller
