The only thing a CTO does for you is exempt you from having to take a CTO test at the Academy. If you take into account how much more money Beaver, Embry R. students had to pay compared to the other CTI schools that dont offer a CTO, its a no brainer.

i think youre right about the CTO stuff. however, adding together my apartment and tuition for my time at beaver i only paid 20 grand (out of state), 7 of which went toward the required private pilots license. to me, ERAU is a good aviation school, but a little over the top as far as tuition is concerned when these days you can walk in off the street for an ATC job.
