Actually it was a good run for my career. 2006 changed a great many things but there will always be willing applicants. Question is whether they can keep up with all those exiting. Opportunities abound for new hires to go where they want either initially or after certification provided they dont START at a hard to staff facility. Its very complicated and there are many unknowns at this time but life has no gaurentees. I would never steer someone away from the proffession but they need to enter with eyes wide open.
