I'm currently in OKC and I'm renting a room in a house that a girl owns. It's a great house in a decent area (near Penn Square Mall) and it's only about 15 miles from the Academy. It takes me about 25 minutes to get to class in the mornings (and this is only because of all the traffic you hit trying to get into the actual academy security gate).

Anyway, my class is over on March 5th, and she's looking for another roommate for after that. She only needs a temporary one, because she gets married in May, and so I offered to post on here for her to see if anyone was interested.

The room is very big with a closet and is fully furnished with two dressers, a side table, and a queen size bed. There is one bathroom that is shared. She has a small dog (miniature poodle) and will accept dogs if you've got one and want to bring it to OKC with you.

Rent works out to be much cheaper than the Academy approved apartments, and this place has already been approved by the FAA so you'll still get the full per diem amount. All utilities are included in the rent, and there's also a washer and dryer in the house, as well as internet and satellite tv with DVR.

She's looking for a female roommate. If your class date is close to the end of mine, and you're interested, let me know. And if you happen to be in the March 4th class or something, I can move all my stuff out and crash on the couch for two nights so you can have the room.
