I'm currently employed with LM in the AFSS program. I used to work for the FAA but left for financial reasons. All I can say is the relationship with the managers is awesome. It is NOTHING like the FAA. It's still a business, but they realize that to have a happy employee helps productivity. I was hired for a Legacy site which is getting harder to get into. The next class is for April 1st. There are at least 3 positions for Hawaii, the rest are mostly for the west coast, AZ, TX, maybe CA....and as always, VA. The following class will be more of a mix. Could see some TN, NC, FL, along with the usual TX and VA. The 3 hubs, AZ, VA and TX are their main focus. They can't tell you where they are hiring next because they are constantly reviewing the staffing situation and won't know until they are ready to staff the next class. The pay is great, and we're getting another raise in the upcoming weeks. I don't regret my decision to leave the FAA one bit.

Thats all good and fine. I would never want you guys to make bad money. But fss is now famous for providing horrible service ever since LM. Whcih has made my job harder because a lot of pilots refuse to even call you guys to file (always gets f'ed up). Which means I have to file for them while I'm separating airplanes. But keep talking about your raise. Everyone vote republican so the poeple actually separating the planes can be contracted out. It has worked wonders for flgiht service.
