Congratulations! I took a tour there; it was neat. Almost everyone I met seemed to enjoy their job there. You're not already a developmental, are you?

I grew up in So. Setauket (essentially Centereach), and am temporarily back on LI for a few semesters doing research at Brookhaven.
I have my heart set on KLAS McCarran tower, or KVGT, even. As much as I love LI/NY, I still can't wait to go back to Vegas, and my Husband. It's extremely hard to be away.

Yeah I can only imagine how much doing long distance must suck with your husband. I know my sister hates it when her husband has to go out of town for a few days - Can't imagine a few semesters. I'm actually awaiting OKC... they told me to expect feb 10th and that I am slated for ZNY assuming all goes well at OKC. I lucked out big time with graduating college a semester early and being able to make everything work out between college and OKC. LAS would be one hell of a place to work I assume heh.

I'm finishing up my degree at Stony Brook as we speak. You been working at BNL I assume? Isn't SB the partner facility between research @ BNL and faculty @ SB?
