By my graphic, you can see that I am a Goldwing rider. My main ride is a 1994 GL 1500, dark pearl teal.
My son and I are into restoring bikes, and are presently working on:
- 1977 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500
- 1981 Goldwing GL 1100I
- 1984 Honda GM 450C (sending to Africa with my daughter and son-in-law)
My son chopped a 1984 Yamaha 400. Lowered it 5.5", stretched it 10.5", made it a hard tail, cut the frame and raked the front end so it would sit level. Seat height is only 22", with asingle saddle and star & bars paint job.
Cool bike, and it gets lots of attention at meets and rides.
We also have a Verucci Mini Harlee 49 cc for the grandkids. 49cc Honda style engine, 4 speeds, black with orange flame paint job. With a 180 pound adult, it will go up to 47 mph, and gets almost 100 mpg.
Yeah, we ride.
Gee, maybe we could get a motorcycle smiley for the posts.
