Good deal on Oakleys

For those of you that are into Oakleys theres a great deal to be had. Oakley is offering very discounted prices (about 45-50% off) for those that are military or a government employee. The FAA is acceptable. I've already done it and picked up some "Gascans" for $50.

Just go to this website and sign-up. You'll have to scan a picture of your FAA badge and send it to them. Within a day they'll approve you and you can buy Oakley gear really cheap.

It's supposed to be for military personnel but it was extended to government employees also. You won't find the outrageous colors, just the standard issue that the troops are wearing.

i dont want to be a secure freak but how reliable is the site? and all that other identy stuff since were giving them a SCANED ID badge?

honestly i didn't even think or worry about it. maybe i should've. i got it from a good friend that is still AD so i just trusted he knew best. it worked for him and for me. i guess disclaimer would be "at your own risk". wow, more i think about it...probably a good question since giving out a copy of my badge. crap

I wrote "void" over my copy before faxing it... they still approved it. They also said they will take a copy of your pay stub. It says you can black anything you want but they just need your name and the name of the company you work for.

that makes me feel better since my last pair were dark safety glasses, (not Oakley stylin but ok). I think I'll do the VOID badge and get a nice pair. Thanks for the heads up.

And Oakleys in the good ol' US and A are already waaay cheaper then here in Europe. Here, for example, Oakley Spike costs 179 euro = 255 bucks

and over there, the same sunglassses go for 135 bucks. And on top of that, you get 50% off, you lucky ......
Wish I could get that as well, but...

Luckily I have a friend of mine who got me the Spikes for 135 bucks, so I am fine with that. How do I look ?
