Hunting while in OKC

I will be out in OKC from Oct 10th thru Feb 17th. While I am out there I am going to try and do some bird hunting. Anyone else plan on doing any hunting while out there?

I'm just getting into the whole hunting thing but may be interested. I'm not heading down there until around January though. Do you know what's in season then? I know January is the start of duck season here in NY... Maybe I'll do some research later...

Quail statewide is from second Saturday in November until Feb. 15th.
Turkey season runs from Oct 1st until Jan 15th.

A few years ago, there was a glut of wild boar in the eastern part of the state. If there are still a lot out there, you might want to try them.

Or even on the Oregon trail!!!!!!!

What kind of pup are you getting?

Here's my not so little guy...

We have a ton of boar down here in Florida. Our bird hunting isn't very good. I am looking forward to some good bird hunting in OK.
