With Geo pref's in June/July, when might OKC classes start?

I know this is all 'speculative' and ever-changing at this point, but I'm wondering if anyone has any insight on this topic. I'm finishing CTI school at the end of March 2011 and am considering planning my wedding/honeymoon in Mexico for the end of March/beginning of April of 2011, but I'm also a Pubnat 8 applicant and that got me thinking; how crappy would it be to get an offer with an OKC date during that time and I've got 50 people coming down to Mexico to see me get hitched? So, my question is, assuming that Geo Pref's come out in June or July, does anyone have any insight or knowledge of past time-lines that could help predict when OKC dates may start for PUBNAT 8 applicants? |

Posted: 03-04-2010, 12:09 AM I would assume you would probably be fine. There are still alot of ots and cti's way ahead of all the pubnat 8's so I couldn't see a class atleast a year or more from now. But anything is still possible.

Posted: 03-04-2010, 01:04 AM PUBNAT7 had their geopref email sent out in the end of July and still haven't had any interviews (aside from veteran classes and a few VERY lucky folks). I guarantee you won't have to worry about OKC interrupting your wedding plans

Posted: 03-04-2010, 05:16 PM If you even got picked up from PUBNAT8 -- keep in mind most probably won't -- classes won't start for you until much later than that. You should be fine.

Posted: 03-04-2010, 08:13 PM I was in your exact position but Im PUBNAT 7, when panels were going to be in October I could just see that PEPC being held during my November wedding.
Good thing that didn't happen.....  |

Posted: 03-07-2010, 09:13 PM I'm PUB 3 and still waiting to go to OKC with no word of class date. There are a lot of other people on here who have been waiting over a year and a half with no class date. You should probably be safe but I guess you never know.
