There's a guy here in OKC getting ready to ship out to ACK. Every time I see him I want to lock him into a closet so I can take his spot. Forget the cost of living issue; I'll live in a lifeboat on the ferry.

I'll pass the suggestion along, it's a good idea. |

Re: OTS Washout Help
Posted: 03-02-2011, 06:24 AM The major problem with ACK is the cost of living, that people have already stated. Its also on an island obviously, and traffic is only present in the summer. It definitely would not be my first choice, but it "beats the hell out of working at Sears". Can anyone name that movie reference?

it's more a package than a form. here's some info from Doug Church that should shed some light.

Re: OTS Washout Help
Posted: 03-02-2011, 03:11 PM So I have read about a lot of washouts, but I'm not really clear on how people wash out. Does it happen at checkout sessions when moving up to D1, or D2? Can it happen on an average day when the trainee has not been keeping up lately? Do they get a second chance to checkout if they fail?
