I think it's safe to say that enough people (including the FAA) have seen this and realized that if they put out another PUBNAT every single CTI applicant without an FOL would apply to it essentially crapping all over their diversity goal-oriented reasoning behind potentially opening it up again.

They just closed the application process for OTS in Alaska but you must have been an Alaskan resident to apply. Maybe they will come out with OTS for the rest of us

I already have 20k in student loans I'm going to pray OTS will come back.

That announcement was actually for Flight Service Station Specialists. All the flight service stations in the country used to be FAA until they were contracted them out to Lockheed-Martin. Now they have been very much consolidated and the only federally run ones left are in Alaska.

That makes sense MTC thanks for clarification. If there is OTS hiring again I was told by human resources they normally release that in October. I doubt it will happen but oh well.
