Who is going to ZKC? (Kansas City Center)

Thanks for the info. I haven't seen any new class dates come out here or on JC lately, so I was curious.

Just wondering if any of you guys know who our new HR rep is. I'm going to email her/him and ask if it would in any way delay me if I got a temporary job while waiting for the academy. I've been going too broke for too long. My finances can't wait much longer, and now that we're throwing around Jan-Mar class dates, I've got to shift gears.

Don't know if you guys saw or not... a PUB5 ZAU guy got a class date this afternoon for Oct. 7! I'm pumped. An enroute, central region, Chicago PEPC guy getting a class date less than 3 weeks away. Gotta mean good things for us.

Why would it delay things? All that means is that you'll have a job you'll need to quit before you leave for OKC.

This is the FAA we're talking about. Uncertantity and misdirection are all a part of the ride. Don't believe any thing you hear from anyone about time lines. Eveytime someone says there aren't going to be any class dates until X the next day or later that week some posts about getting a date 3 months before X.

I heard something that goes along with the March class. A friend of mine was talking to one of the trainers and that person said the next expected group of people for ZKC will be at the center for training in 10 months. Pretty bad news for me if it turns out to be true. Gonna have my roommate ask around when he goes in tonight to.
