got an email today!!!! - bad joke

i got an email today it was just from sears telling me they have a good deal on some refrigerators and washers and dryers!

sorry i couldn't help it!

i just wanted to practice for the hopefully soon to be post! hehe all fun and games to pass the time!

It's a great feeling, but don't cry wolf too many times. People don't like having their heart go in their throat thinking they should have an e-mail that affects the rest of their lives.

like i said its all fun and games! no harm wanted... just seems there is soo much talk about the referral list and its all negative!

I predict some similar negativity towards your fun and games soon.

We had several threads like this on PUBS 5/6 and there were some pissed off folks when they realized this was a bad prank.

You should have added something like this to your post.

Congratulations! You have been chosen for further consideration for an Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS) position at Pick your center/facility in City, State.

The next step in the process is for you to decide if you would like to accept or decline this offer to interview and, if you accept, which procedure you would like to use to complete your pre-employment processing. You will be receiving correspondence from several different offices. Please respond to all correspondence/emails/telephone messages. You must respond to this inquiry in order to be scheduled for an interview.

1. “Traditional” Non-PEPC Process. This process begins with you being scheduled for an interview at an FAA facility location close to where you live. If you have successfully completed your interview and are recommended, the Aviation Careers Division will provide you with the information required to schedule the remaining pre-employment processing steps.
You will be interviewed at (ZHU) Houston ARTCC in Houston , Texas.
