In the wishful but agonizing throes of interminable waiting, I really surprised myself with how many different things I was willing to do to get started on the rest of my life. Anyone else care to list? Maybe some FAA rep will see how well-rounded the 7's are...

I have my master's degree in Atmospheric Science, so I've also been applying for numerous jobs in both that field, some in proofreading and editing, and some in math.

I've also recently acquired my private pilot license, so maybe I'll keep going in that as a hobby.

get my degree in electrical engineering, avionics core and build some new shit....

continue working as a tech support rep

look for a different job if im bored with tech support

be reeeallly bored and become a flight attendant....

go back to law enforcement, nypd, TSA, FAMS maybe...

Good call. All I hear from controllers is that they are hiring and they still need many more...so keep that in mind...I would say they are a reliable source.

I know, maybe the controllers will all go on strike and get fired again, then they'll have to hire all of us to fill in their spots.
