Need some advice folks - Air Traffic Control - ATC

Personally, I would take the job. I graduated CTI in Aug, and made both my referrals. By the looks of things, I’m thinking I will not get selected this time and will have to wait until the Jan panels. That is already 6 months and I still am not guaranteed to be picked up in Jan. And Even If I do, they got rid of PEPCs, so I don’t really know how long of a process it is to get all your clearances done. I could only predict that it will take a little while. But, I’m sure there are other people on here that will know more info then me. This is just my timeline so far

Yeah. I say take it. I applied in August '08, AT-SAT in January, and now waiting on a class date. That's 1 year 3 months and counting. Don't put your career on hold for ATC figuring you may not get picked up. And in Oklahoma by October 2010... HIGHLY DOUBT THAT. Pubnat 5/6 people are looking to maybe have a class date around then. Take the job. It's going to be a while. Good luck! Get picked!
