I've applied at ASAP, was selected for testing, scored 97.6 on November 3rd testing date in Oklahoma City.

What is next?

Wait like 3 months................ They say 'oh btw where do you want to work?', you say xy state and yx state, wait like 3 months........... They say 'so do ya want to work at xyz facility? (or not selected)' you say hell ya sign me up. Wait like three months............. They say here's a tol and pee in this cup and how's your credit are you a terrorist... Do you take drugs. You say ok, bad, no, sometimes wait like 3months............ The say 'congrats your clearances have passed now wait till fy 2011 for a MFing class date

Ok... I'm 28 in Dec, starting a master's degree in Jan, clearance is working as I'm a National Guard Lieutenant. I basically have plenty of time to finish that master's

And Dax, not lazy. When you rip someone, use words like "you're" instead of "your" in that context. It's a glass house thing......

There is a good chance the FAA won't take it. They like to to do their 'own' research on folks. Plenty of military guys with Secret clearances have had to open new ones for an ATC position.

Yeah, I've read about more than one applicant that held a security clearance, even higher level than the position applied for, and still had to go through the process.

kind of off subject.. but i guess this is the right place to ask being it is titled "what is next" and has to do with time.. i have a burning question that i always wanted to know.. here goes.. what came first... the chicken or the egg???
