Are we guaranteed a job once we've been selected?

I was just told that ZMP is not hiring for 2010. My questions is are we guaranteed a job when they start to hire again? I aksed SF but she does not answer my questions! I just want some security in knowing that you have to wait, but yes you will be going some time! Any info?

Yeah...Just don't turn 31 in the process. Crazy I applied when I was 27 now I may actually have to start thinking about age.

From what I heard, once you received your TOL, you're age is frozen.

I don't think you will be gauranteed a job once they start up again. I think it will all depend on the staffing levels and if they have anyone in the pipeline for it.

Being as we're in the PUB 5/6 subforum, I would assume that the OP is already in the pipeline for it.

Here's a better way to ask his question.

If you have a TOL, have passed everything, is there ever a point in which we've waited so long that we're no longer in the pipe line?

My guess is no. On the TOL, the only way to not get the position is failing Medical, Security, etc. And yeah, the age no longer matters for any of us still posting on this subforum. Assuming we belong in here.

I'm moving back in with the parents the first week of February and trying to land this part-time job with hopes for full-time. I think i'm basically a shoe-in. yay for $9/hr. I hope I find something in Denver. I will move out there ASAP until the FAA (Mistress) calls me.
