My ASAP Account Still Says not Selected To Take The Test

I took the test last Jan for pub 6 an scored 96%. I re-apllied for pubnat 8 and my account still says not seleced to take the test. Should it have updated by now???

I took the test under pubnat5 and had the same message before the new applicants took the test. However w/in the last month or so it was changed to read that my application for the announcement has been received. I would call FAA careers right away and have them address the issue. If your status remains the same when those geo prefs come out theres a good chance youll be excluded from the upcoming panels.

I applied to Pubnat 5 and 8 and it mine is the same as yours, even though I have already taken the atsat as well, I will give OKC a call on Monday and see what the deal is.

Im going to call today and find out as well. I met the training manager for a large enroute facility last week. The panels are def going to be in march for pubnat 8. Ill let you know what the FAA says about my ASAP account too.

i applied for No. 5 and took my test last december.... it used to say the "not selected" thing but has now been changed to the other message.

I think this just means that since you have already taken the test you were not selectd to take the test for the current public announcement that you recently applied for.

Check out the line right before the one that you bolded. Something along the line of meeting the training manager at an Enroute facility.
