Public Announcement Process

So you are positive the panel for PUBNAT 2 meets on Sept 9th?

All the information and calls from different people have been saying that week for terminal and the week following the enroute board was meeting......but yet again it is the FAA so things can always change.

has anyone received an email about being on a selection list or seen it under the submit button on the ASAP?

I found out about my selection by continuing to call. I called my contact in okc two weeks after the New York July 10 pepc. It was the same HR lady I met with in New York and her name and contact information was on the bottom of my TOL.

I'm scheduled for the october 18th basics class in OKC and I haven't seen a change on my ASAP since getting picked for the referral list back in June. So this leads me to believe that they stop updated the ASAP system after the referral list.

pubnat 1 - 2/15
atsat - 4/24 (100%)
pepc - 07/07
08/21 - FOL and OKC date
10/10 - OKC start

called the guy at the bottom of my TOL sheet for a month and a half. then called others in his office. never got a call back or through to anyone. finally got called out of the blue on 8/21 though. so persistence or patience, it can happen.

What center did you get selected for? If you don't mind me asking.

has anyone gotten any response from FAA for PUBNAT5 application??

We're all still waiting for PUBNAT 2. BTW anyone who was selected for PUBNAT 1, when they offered you a facility, was it the option (terminal or enroute) that you had selected?

in my case yes they offered me an enroute, i chose both options but they offered zdc and im in nyc i had to decline that position b/c there was no way i could sell my house in time to move, not to mention my husband is police officer with the nypd and a lateral xfr would have been hard to get into a police dept there...sucks but cant do nothing about that.....i got the pref email for pubnat 2 that closed 5/2 so im waiting to hear anything from that one, the aviation careers office advised me to apply to every open app that comes up so that my name stays in the list especially since i already passed the at-sat with a well qualified score....im not holding my breath but im optimistic, just have to wait and see.....

*sigh*
