update on pubnat2

according the aviation careers division, the panels have been out meeting for a week now and supposedly it will be 2-4 weeks until we hear of pepc dates, they said they didnt have the schedules for the pepc's yet.....

right now they are getting the list{s} together for who they want to interview so...... unless anyone has any hookups w/ H.r that we dont know about, it seems that we will be hearing whether or not you will be interviewed soon and then the pepc/interview dates right after......

I've been waiting since May of 2007. We are lucky. I know controllers in the late 80s and even early 90s waited years, started careers and bought homes thinking that they were not selected to become a controller. At least we know we have a confirmed answer within weeks of now, not years. Its not as bad as it could be...

If more people weren't grateful for such a crappily-handled process, maybe it would actually change.

I am going to officially go insane very soon..... I want to just know if I have been selected and what facility RIGHT NOW......... It is such a badly handled and slow process but there are so many applicants they probably couldn't care less.

I just heard the center guys will not meet until next week.

makes sense, they didnt tell me WHO or what group was having panels to pick people to interview, only that they have been meeting for over a week now and it will be 2-4 weeks from when they started is when we will get notification of who will be contacted for interviews....pepc dates all i could get out is that they dont have the schedule with the dates YET, so that seems to implicate that they are going to have another one, when is the question......

I think you misunderstood me. I'm hardly grateful. I'm just saying its better than it used to be... it HAS changed. Now it still sucks and is the worst application process I have ever heard of, but it has been worse in the past.
