Pay-For-Performance For All Federal Employees Debate Continues

Earlier this week, My Federal Retirement reported the House is expected to vote soon on an amendment to the 2010 defense authorization bill that could end the NSPS pay-for-performance system for Department of Defense employees within one year -- a change affecting approximately 200,000 federal employees.

But the broader debate regarding pay reform continues -- particularly that the Obama administration stated earlier this year that it favors a pay-for-performance program for all federal employees.
