Snowaviation you are so right about the error messages. They NEVER have any correlation to what is actually wrong.
I just touched the surface, I could go on and on about the dumb arse stuff that the HOST FDIO connection makes us put up with. If the FAA want's NexTGen then start with ATC automation software...

Mebbe someone should start a list of how we do it now and then how we'd like to to work, to submit to FAA Automation.

It'd take years to accomplish but if we don't soon it may never happen.
