Southwest seventeen OH seven?
Posted: 09-12-2009, 06:48 PM These are gettin to be fun.
Okay, here's another one I thought about. Again, I really don't care about what happens in the ops room, I just care about the interpretation in the regs. It's all for good fun debating here on SM. If you have any of following callsigns, how do you read them? Please use references. SWA1707 DAL202 NWA03 AWE3003 |

Southwest seventeen zero seven Delta two zero two Northwest zero three Cactus thirty zero three References: JO 7110.65 2-4-20 (2) 2. Air carrier and other civil aircraft having FAA authorized call signs. State the call sign followed by the flight number in group form. NOTE- ?Group form? is the pronunciation of a series of numbers as the whole number, or pairs of numbers they represent rather than pronouncing each separate digit. The use of group form may, however, be negated by four-digit identifiers or the placement of zeros in the identifier. EXAMPLE- ?American Fifty-Two.? ?Delta One Hundred.? ?Eastern Metro One Ten.? ?General Motors Thirty Fifteen.? ?United One Zero One.? ?Delta Zero One Zero.? ?TWA Ten Zero Four.? |
