Applying as a Veteran
Posted: 04-28-2012, 03:44 PM Hello,
Recently separated, trying to figure out this application process. I have researched and tried various networks for answers but to no avail. My questions are where do I apply, since aviator is no longer being used. I have created a profile on USAJOBS but need to upload my resume. That being said, do i just search for "air traffic specialist" and hope something comes up before submitting an application? There has to be a general way of applying to two states, correct? I appreciate all feedback and help, thanks in advance. |

Re: Applying as a Veteran
Posted: 04-28-2012, 09:58 PM The panels are generally in march and october, applications open up a few months before them. If you visit this site once and a while, you will know when they are open because there will be 600 threads about it.

Well your WS means nothing..
But the FAA has been doing bi-annual hirings for the past 3 years. If it continues the next job announcement will be Aug-Sept 2012. Fastest way to search is.. Www.usajobs.gov Advanced Search Where it says series type 2152 Nothing is up now, but Aug-Sep something will be.. Plus check stuckmic it will blow up with posts. |
