Alright...looking into yet another chat room...this one would be permanent and it costs around $300 per year for the basic version....if you want all the crazy features, i.e. video chat, different fonts, games, blah, blah, blah...it can run in the thousands....anyways, I would like to get this thing if you all want it. If anyone that uses the chat room frequently would want to pitch in on a fundraising opportunity just for the chat, now is the time. I can have it up and running within a day. If I even get the slightest interest this evening in donations, I will even take the plunge and probably purchase it tonight. Why not an IRC channel? Or a Vent channel? Or a Stickam page? Or some combination? I know Stickam is shit, but it's bearable.

Thanks to KDskylark and Roddy_Piper for their donation towards the new Stuck Mic chat room....should have it up and running within a few days....already purchased the license information, waiting on a few things from their end...it will be pretty sweet.

Anyone else that takes advantage of the chat room, consider contributing any amount to help towards the costs as it will run at least $300 per year...probably looking at more closer to $1000 or above per year once we start getting more users in the chat room....and then even more if we add additional features like video chat, friends list, so on and so on....

Anyways, thanks again, can't wait to get this new feature up and running for everyone.

Suggestion for chat room if possible: have a counter at the top beside the roommate finder counter with the number of people in the chat room? I know I don't have my wings yet but plan on donating soon. Saving up for wedding and everything that goes along with it at the moment. (and no i dont be buying a wife! haha) The wedding is in Aug.

Edit: I see now on another post a chat room counter is in work or has been tried at least, my appologies.
