This is the credit union you will see at the academy; they serve the FAA community nationwide.

I can't keep straight who's who but this credit untion pays 4.7x% if you qualify for optimum checking, which isn't too hard to do. with ing direct paying 1.5% or something that's a good deal

Check out our sponsor on the homepage, FAA Credit Union. They will be the same credit union that you get to sign up for at the Academy.

So Rossta there are 3 different FAA credit unions? I just read a little bit about the checking and savings accounts on the link Admin put up and it all sounds pretty good. Does anyone use any of these credit unions who can tell me the difference between using a tradional bank such as Bank of America. Thanks

I checked out the link. For some reason, I have a difficult time trusting a bank that hasn't updated their rates in over a year and a half.

faa credit union is a good bank if u live in OKC... otherwise they do the bare minimum. no out of state home loans, large money transfers, anything like that either they dont do or takes considerable amount of time to accomplish
