Newly retired
Posted: 08-29-2010, 12:26 PM Whats up guys n gals? Just had my Retirement ceremony Friday after 20yrs in the Navy. My end date isn't till Sep30th so hopefully I hook up somewhere prior to then. Here's a little rundown of some my fun times:
Millington,TN - ATC school/CATCC USS Ranger San Diego - Air ops Sup TACRON 12, San Diego - Misc. NAS Corpus Christi, TX - Radar Sup, Gnd, CD, FD, FWST OLF Waldron/Cabaniss USS Kitty Hawk, Japan - Approach, Iwo Jima Island Approach NAS JRB FT Worth, TX - Facility Watch Supervisor, Flight Planning Chief NATTC Pensacola, FL - Instructor (Tower, Radar, CATCC) |

Posted: 08-30-2010, 11:02 AM I'm still there. Well actually, I'm still there till Sep30th. I'm on terminal leave. I'd like to stay in the bounds of ATC. There's nothing else out there I'd rather do besides photography and the economy isn't exactly setup for that to be the only means of income.

Posted: 09-03-2010, 10:56 AM I applied for it and the VRA back on the 23 of Aug. Got rejected on the VRA. I did talk to them to see what happened and got them the information needed. No word yet on the RMC other than I'm in the system.
