Hello,

I am very impressed with this community and think I'll start checking these forums often.

I got my bachelor's degree in August 09 and am trying to get through the CTI program as fast as possible out here in California. I think that I would make a great ATC but all the talk here about CTI grads taking so many years to receive a job offer is pretty intimidating. I'm 23 and should be finished with my CTI school in June. I have no idea if I want to be tower or radar and haven't really found a comprehensive compare & contrast of the two.

I think I'd like to live in Hawaii so that's probably what I'll put as a working state preference on my job application; haven't decided what the other state I'll put is.

If anyone has any advice or questions for me please don't hesitate. Until I graduate I'm working part time and surfing as much as I can while I'm in CA. I figure its best to have as much fun as I can!

if you can, go up/down. if you're stuck with just one or the other, radar.:chug:
