I am a soon to be 18 year old freshman @ Daniel Webster College (DWC) and yes, I know all about the acronyms that come with ATC. Its easy to guess, that my major is Air Traffic Control, at this for profit school that i will hopefully get accreditted for the CTI program associated with it by the FAA. I am filled with questions at the moment, but would have to be asked in the appropriate threads. Im here to say salute those in the same path as me, those in the process of getting hired, and those already hired as certified ATC. I know ill make it, pass college with more than satisfactory grades, and nice scores the AT-CTI SAT, & personality test. Im very confident since i will be trying and doing the best i have ever done in my life. What best way to be mentored than by a whole community of Air Traffic Controllers? I was wondering, if i graduate, what is the probability of getting hired @ and how long would it take to get hired if I choose Florida or South Carolina as my 2 states (or the south east coast, USA)? does anyone know?
